Guest guest
Fascinating. I wonder if autism is a kind of reaction to the waste products of certain bacteria or yeast, the way that intestinal yeast disorder is a reactionto the waste products of yeast. I further wonder whether we'll find eventually that vaccines do alter the bacterial gut ecology in some way - anyway, this is a whole new approach, right in line with Elaine - which might help medical science advance in a more correct pathway for fighting autism. Etc. Mara<snip>People with autism are also known to suffer from gastrointestinal disorders and they have a different makeup of bacteria in their guts from non-autistic people.http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2010/06/100603091641.htm Maybe someone who is a member of PecanBread group can pass this along to them. Guest guest
Carol, Thanks so much for posting this! It is truly fascinating.. I really hope we get closer and closer to acknowledging gut ecology in more schools of thought..
