Guest guest
I worked 20 years as a certified nurse-midwife, and if I hadn't had a sense of humor I wouldn't have lasted long. I've done everything from fall off the rolling exam stools to getting sprayed with urine to getting a mouth full of blood clots from yakking too much while the placenta was being delivered. I've also caught quite a few babies with the mom's foot in my neck. Hey, if it helps her brace herself, it's fine with me. Better than strapping them in stirrups! I don't remember who told that story, but it was hysterical! Ramblin' RoseModerator A merry heart is good medicine. Proverbs 17:22 The New Busy is not the old busy.
