Hello Everyone,

Well my origonal date was tomorrow , bu tmy insurance

company think's i need to be sick along with being

overweight to qualify for the surgery, So i found out

after my pre op they said no. Well i cried alot and

decided that that will do no good. So i sat down and

documented all the stuff sice May 2nd the day i got my

referral. So i now have till Oct 6th to appeal it and

still get the surgery under this referral. So i am

going to the dr tomorrow to look at my whole medical

record and talk to her about my families history and

hopefully get it done.

I will let you all know what i find out

Alana and ...first off Best of Luck to the both of you!!!...and yes,

you dates will be here before you know it! Now, focus on each coming day and

stay positive!!! Yes, bad things do happen, but that is true with any

surgery! I was petrified pre-op, but and thought of the negative things,

too, but what would have happened if I hadn't had the surgery?! I would

either be dead- at 37- or in a wheelchair,. as i could baely walkj! Keep

focused on the big picture!.,..that being you new life post-op!!!!! Kope

this helps?!!!! sherri

I to was scared before my surgery.. The date i got my date i went home, and

cried because i couldnt believe that i let myself get to be 312 lbs.. I just

felt awful, but once i got my crying out, i focused on nothing but positive

things.. Make sure you keep a positive attitude about the whole thing. I really

think that is a factor in a surgery turning out great... I went in with

confidence in the surgeon, and i came out feeling great.. just think positive

thoughts.
