Guest guest
Tigger, I am almost 3 years post from open RNY. I also have fibromyalgia and have experienced a marginal ulcer that perforated and caused me to develop peritonitis. I also have had some very high sed rates within the past 3 years and eventually they go back down, never to normal, but way down. I am very afraid of Vioxx as it can cause gastric bleed and I have already had one ulcer to perforate and two anastomatic strictures. The only thing I use for pain from the fibromyalgia is tylenol and due to my problem with chronically elevated liver enzymes , that is rare. I do , on rare occasion, take a vicodin. I hope you feel better soon. Take care Peachy hugs,
Guest guest
Tigger, My aren't you my ulcer buddy or is it just that we are the scope queens! I don't think Vioxx is good for the tummy. Check with Vita Mom, she will know for sure, but I think you might want to stay away from it. I've had fibro and it can be really painful and very draining. Water aerobics really helped me out. Not the regular class but a class for folks with arthritis. Hugs and hope you feel better real soon! Joanie Help??!!! X post > Hi All! Hope someone can help me here (again!).
