What's with these pimples?!

Hi all,

I am at four weeks post op. Why am I covered in tiny little pimples?

They are all over my face and neck. I reckon it is a side effect of

surgery, but how long until they work themselves out of my system?

Willa,

Although several folks have reported bad skin as a result of surgery, I

would not assume your pimples are a direct result of surgery. You may

be having a reaction to your meds or other environmental factor. I

recommend you give your surgeon a call and ask him/her.

Willa,

I'm a little more than 2 weeks post-op and just noticed the same thing

yesterday. The bumps aren't too noticable on me unless you get up

close but I sure can feel them. I'm hopful that you'll get responses

to your inquiry as I'd welcome feedback, too.

Hi Willa,

I had the exact same thing... I figured it was because I was just

cleaning my face less since I felt very run down and it felt weird to

wash my face.. but I found that the entire texture of my skin changed

and I don't think my face has ever been as clear as it was before my

surgery, and i'm just over a year post-op.. which sucks.. but maybe

thats just a coincidence
