Guest guest
I personally would recommend the non-splint surgeon! My splint is killing me b/c I can't talk! Good luck! -- rymi48 wrote: I am trying to decide between 2 oral surgeons for lower advancement . One does not use a splint the other one does use a splint. is the splint that bothersome. Guest guest
Are you banded shut is that why you cant talk or is it the splint. i allways thought you could talk a little with it in??
Guest guest
I wouldn't let splint/non splint be my deciding factor -- rather, what my overall sense of the surgeon is, and my ability to work with him/her. And ask the splint one whether he or she, too, uses elastics (or wires). Mo, but not all, do one or the other, splint or no splint. C.
