Guest guest
Heck roll on Tuesday! Never heard that one before, , but it sounds like a good all- purpose swear phrase, all of which are occasionally justified. Sorry to hear that the antibiotics aren't doing their stuff for you, but at least we now have new and improved germ-killers to throw at the germs we've encouraged to grow hardier. Hope you get a big boost from some super-special ones. I do not understand docs who suggest that their patients not flinch when they cause pain. Sometimes it cannot be helped. Period. There is an old, very old, and rather bawdy story that I'll try to clean up to make it postable, about the patient who, when so admonished by a male doc, said: " OK. You just let me figure out what part of your body to hold while you're working, and I'll squeeze that instead. " Solved the problem. I hope I made that non-naughty enough to pass the standards. But I think some docs might benefit from such treatment. I am fortunate to have ones who are more caring and compassionate, and I hope you will, too. Best, Cammmie
Guest guest
Judy, Thank you. In a strange kind of way the surgeries have made me who I am today. They ahve helped me become the fun, loving, bubbly person that I am not to mention talkative! I am fed up of feeling this way 12 weeks is a long time to be like this but hopefully after wednesday things will get better! --------------------------------- Start your day with Yahoo! - make it your home page
Guest guest
Cammie, I have a few other's too most of them are in welsh though. Which did come in very handy when I was in hospital as I could say what ever I wanted in welsh and no one knew what I was saying! This doc seemed to be under the impression that I was making it up and he didn't like the fact that I asked to see MY surgeon or someone on his team and not someone who was just sat at the side line. Though I understand his point that he was unable to feel anything when I flinched but WHAT DID HE EXPECT?? Thank goodness for x-rays is all I say and for decent caring Dr's! I made my feelings clear to this Dr and my surgeon when I saw him after my x-ray. And my surgeon told him that I was no one to mess about with or to just brush off, guess he learnt the hard way! That sure did make me laugh I will remember that one in case I need it some time LOL!!!! __________________________________________________
