Post Op - 6 months - lip & chin - regaining feeling

Hello Everyone:

I have just very recently discovered this support group. I have been

reading many posts over the last week or so with great interest. I

believe that I am very lucky in that my surgery was such a success! I

had an upper jaw widening via split & bridge, lower jaw advancement,

and gum line realignment.

I have had no complications......

Just thought I would inquire as to the length of time it is taking for

completely regaining feeling in the lower lip & lower jaw......I know

the time frame varies greatly........

I don't know, but I have been wondering the same thing. I had surgery

a little over a week ago and my entire lower gums and half my lower

lip and chin are numb. L
