Re: New poll for Graduate-OSSG

Actually, if we're looking at Spring/Summer, that's a great idea

because of the beach and Boardwalk. I live 2 hours away. <BG>

  • 2 weeks later...

I like Fall. That's one of the few good things about the Northeast.

But, the weather has been so bizarre around the country lately, I

suppose we'll have to just wait & see what's in store for us this

year.

in NJ

**************************

> >> Wet & cool??? No thanks!

>

> , brace yourself. Western Washington typically has 300 days a

year of rain. July and August would be the best bets for no rain, but

even then, we think it's blistering hot if it gets to 85 degrees. We

wear jeans and sweaters all year round, most years. This past summer

we had an unprecedented 65 consecutive days of temperatures over 70.

Yes, 70. That's how it is here. But it is lush, and green, and

beautiful, most all the time.

I can relate...about 10 minutes from me, as you're heading into the

City, there's a ridge you come over on the highway, and the NYC

skyline is laid out in front of you...still takes my breath away.

Although, I suppose, it will always be somewhat sad and beautiful now.

mountain. If it's out, you can't miss it. Kinda on the large side.

Especially from here in Puyallup. It's the backdrop for everything.

corner & there it is, absolutely breath taking. Never get tired of it!

And to think that I get excited that our highs are 80 to 85 in November.

Of course I'm just a crazy Texan.

Damn I would really like to come. But if it goes to the last weekend

listed (July 30 - Aug 2), I won't be able to (we already made vacation plans

for

7/24 through 8/7). However (!!!!!!), the next weekend Aug 13 - 16th would

be ideal (hint hint hint!) Besides (she argues slyly), wouldn't a bit later

date in August assure the most clement weather???? (batting eyelashes

innocently).

(Wants to see the space needle thingy!)

You're not any crazier than me. I went to Little Rock yesterday on business.

I left there at 10 pm last night...77 degrees. Got to OKC, and it was 40 and

dropping, and I didn't have a coat with me. I was freezing my a** off when I

got here at 4:30 am. I'm a hot weather person.

Enter your vote today! A new poll has been created for the

Graduate-OSSG group:

How would having an RNY affect your

bathroom habits? This is considering

you already have permanent loose

stools because of gallbladder surgery.

Please respond only if you had an RNY

after having your gallbladder out.

o It will make it better

o It will make it worst

o It will stay the same

To vote, please visit the following web page:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Graduate-OSSG/surveys?id=1154233

Note: Please do not reply to this message. Poll votes are

not collected via email. To vote, you must go to the Yahoo! Groups

web site listed above.
