RE: upper jaw lower jaw and genioplasty

hey there. i was wondering when someone would make a post on the sharp

pains by the ear. i had my surgery over 6 weeks ago and just recently over

the last 2 weeks, a sharp pain right in front of my ear would surface. i'm

still wired and i'm hoping to have those wires off on monday, but i'm just

wondering how much more those pains will bother me when i am finally able to

move my jaw. i know it's from clenching my teeth when i talk, or when i'm

stressed. my guess it's the constant contradicting forces of my jaws

wanting to open and the closing forces of the wires that are causing the

sharp pains. i hope it gets better

op. my swelling has goone down<br> & gt;tremendously. most of the swelling

eating rice and like mashed<br> & gt;potatos. i still eat yogurt, mikeshakes,

ALSO THE OTHER DAY I WAS IN MY CAR, AND THE AIR CONDITIONED WAS ON

VERY HIGH BLOWING COLD AIR ON ME, AND THEN AGAIN THE SHARP PAIN NEAR

THE EAR, MY DOCTOR SAYS IT'S NORMAL, THE THE BONES ARE TRYING TO

HEAL, AND ALSO THE JAW IS GETTING USED TO NEW POSITION AND BITE, AND

THAT'S WHAT'S CAUSING THE PAINS. In
