Guest guest
This has been an interesting thread ... except now it is making me want some of those comfort foods that I used to eat or didn't " get in " pre surgery. *LOL* Seriously, can we again mention the " sick " and " comfort " foods we use now? I find that when I get sick now I panic ... with an oh my goodness WHAT am I going to eat kind of thinking (Like I still can't survive off the fat of the land) . Normies around me get sick and lose weight. Not me, when I get sick my body hangs on to every darn ounce like it's afraid it's starving to death. My most difficult struggles are when I get a simple cold and I can't " taste " because my nose is so stuffy etc. Pre-WLS, as a diabetic, I was instructed to prepare for sick days. Of course I never did. And I am not prepared now. I can see them as potential pit falls. Suggestions? What has worked for you? Especially those days when you feel like sh*t but you aren't sick enough to curl up in bed and stay home from work. Thanks from NJ Open RNY 6/25/01 313/195/???
