Guest guest
At 6.5 months, I would not delay a helmet much longer. There are some alternative methods that can be used to try and correct the head shape, but if you wait for the helmet to try these first, then you will lose the prime time to get good correction. Hello, I am new and need help HelloI am new to this board. My daughter, Hermione, is 6.5 months old and her pediatrician told us at her 4 and 6 month checkup that she has a "pre-mie head". She is a stomach sleeper so her left and her right are equally flat and her head is really long.here are my questions1) I live in Manhattan and can't drive, so I can only take a subway. Where can I get a helmet?2) Are there any "natural" ways I can reshape my baby's head? She hates sleeping in the stroller or in the baby carrier. The only way she will fall asleep is on her tummy.Thank youWinnie(Hermione 6.5 months)
Guest guest
HI! Go see Dr. Warren at NYU, he will asvise you on what to do. He is a Cranial Specialist. Call and speak to Gloria for an appointment. Then from there I went to Cranial Remolding Center. I go to the location in town NJ, there is also one in NYC on Park Ave. 1800-685-9116. I am still working with both! We are almost done after 3 months in a star band! Good Luck!! FYI Dr. Warren does not put babies in helmets before 6 months, so you are at a good time. Keep in mind it takes time to fit the band so work quickly! Pavone-ston Daughter Leighton 1 yr Starband 3months!
