Guest guest
Pam I deal with chronic nausea as well, so I know how that goes. Threelac contains a lot of illegals, and, in my opinion, would do more harm than good to your gut ecology. I have chronic nausea from several causes, but one of the things that helps me the most are my food choices. I’ve learned which foods trigger the most nausea, so I stay away from them. My list of foods might be different than yours, but in general they are the high-carb, high-fiber, high-fat foods that give my digestion the most difficulty and trigger nausea (and pain and disrupt my poor digestive motility even further). Nausea is a common symptom for my upper GI malfunctions and my poor metabolism, and also common with my set of neurological issues. If you haven’t seen a neurologist in connection with your nausea, that might be a helpful step. I keep Phenergan on hand for the really bad days which come along once a month or so, when I just can’t stand another minute of severe nausea. There are other nausea medications available, as well. I haven’t tried many of the other options since my occasional use of Phenergan is effective. I also started SCD with a systemic candida overgrowth. I dealt successfully with that without using any antifungals or special supplements. I just used food choices, and time on SCD, to restore my gut ecology and get my candida levels under control. It worked for me, anyway, but since my body is super sensitive to supplements, I didn’t have any choice [grin]. Still, time on SCD, paying attention to food choices, works just as effectively as taking a variety of supplements, perhaps better since the body heals with less stress. My opinion, anyway [grin]. I went on Orthobiotics " probiotic " purchased from the ND, but it was not very helpful. Today I actually saw the ND, who determined I needed a different course of treatment. She is recommending Threelac as one of several things she is prescribing for me.
