Hi All

I've updated my pic folder with pics of me 13 days post op and 18 days

post op. They aren't the best photos of me by far, in fact I liked

more the way I looked 6 days post-op in the pics but I thought the

pics would give you an idea of how the swelling goes down. I'll try to

post another pic once I get the splint out and I'm all dolled up

again, hopefully no more chipmunk cheeks:-)

Sara,

Looking great! It's so funny, I think the same thing about liking me

better when I took my 7 day post-op pic. I am finding I kinda liked

the chubby cheeks! I'll try to post a pic soon of me, since I'm like

26 days postop now....geez, where has the time gone???

,

Yes I think it must have something to do with still not being able

to smile properly so looking very sad all the time and also having a

long chin suddenly. Oh well, I definitely feel better than I did

last week which is a good thing!

Looking forward to seeing your pics.

Hello Sara - Just saw your photos - Wow! You look so wonderful and

seem happy and relieved that the worst of all this is past.! The

swelling seems to be gone now; your face looks balanced and you now

have a really nice chin! Congratulations on the newly improved you!

Take care. Let us know how Monday's desplinting process goes! ~~

Thanks Diane! And I'll definitely let you know how the desplinting

goes. I have a feel you guys will be hearing A LOT about it, whether

you like it or not! Ha ha. Let me know how the bracketing and spacers

go. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will be relatively painless

for you.
