It's caffeine, not decaf, that's contraindicated with iron and calcium.

Altho, if you're prone to forming kidney stones, even decaf may not be good,

bcuz

brown liquids contain oxalates (as do several other foods), which contribute to

kidney stones. Higher risk with calcium carbonate, of course, but even with

calcium citrate, there's some risk. Also, caffeine taken at least 2 hours away

from iron consumption is apparently okay, but I've seen several articles that

just plain forbid caffeine altogether if you're facing a problem with your

bones. Reduces absorption of calcium in general.
