Guest guest
This is a link to an article in my local paper on the medical overtreatment of Americans. With so much focus on those who get no medical care, many Americans are receiving unnecessary & even harmful medication, testing & procedures. This is an excellent article, the first in a series. It provides a good overview of the subject. Hopefully, this will help everyone to realize how important it is to ask questions, get risk/benefit info, & make truly informed decisions. The part that really blew my mind was a provider suggesting a heart cath on a 90+ year old woman in hospice care for Alzheimer's & heart failure. Thankfully, her family had the good sense to decline. Let me know what you think of all this! Rose/Rosie/Mom/Aunt Rosie/etc. A merry heart is good medicine. Proverbs 17:22 The New Busy think 9 to 5 is a cute idea.
