I was so lucky then, all I had to do was tell my PCP that they needed 10

years worth of weight history and lucky for me I've had the same PCP for years.

I

remember when I filled out paperwork with my surgeon that I had to tell them

what attempts I had made and approximate times and weights, but luckily I

didn't have to show records. They took my word for it.

Maybe between you and your PCP you can document your attempts. I'm sure your

doctor knows your attempts and how they didn't seem to work. Wonder if a

letter from him/her will be sufficient. Won't hurt to try, unless of course

you've already done that. I wish you lots of luck.

I'm going to ask my PCP to give me a letter of recommendation along with her

records. I have only been going to her for about 7/10 months. I have switched

doctors so many times trying to stay in plan when I have a new insurance I don't

even remember my doctor prior to the last one. Our loving insurance company

policies!!!!

I'm going to see if perhaps, my doctor previously has the one before him on file

and go there. My problem was most of my ettempts I didn't mention because I was

afraid of failure and then did of course. So I didn't want them to know I was

trying.

What a mistake! If you no anyone that is dieting I quess the best thing we can

do is pass on tell your doctor so it can be recorded.
