Hi Anne,

About 6 months ago, I bought a juicer and used it for a couple of weeks. Now

it is sitting in the cupboard collecting dust. :( There is a lot of clean

up involved -- but the juices were great. I should pull it out again.

I juice occasionally (especially when I'm flaring) but I only do it for a few

days at a time and then I slowly add food back in via starter diet directions.

It helps a lot. Hehe...I really ought to do it on a more regular basis but I'm

too hooked on food! :P

Hi, I am looking into getting a juicer. Does anyone have a brand that they would

recommend? I have heard the vitamix is really good, but not sure which one. Also

does anyone have any vegetable and fruit combination juice recipes? Thanks

The Vitamix is great for making whole vegetable purees.

For juice, I recommend the Omega 8005? (I have the 8002).

Are you looking for a juicer or a blender? Vitamix is a blender...I don't

*think* that company does a juicer. I have an older, refurbished (yay!

discount!) Breville juicer that has served me well. The only think I need do is

be sure that I clean it right after using, otherwise I have a hard time getting

the pulp off. However I suspect all juicers have that " issue. "
