Guest guest
I was able to have that as soon as I got out of the hospital. Pam
Guest guest
I think egg drop soup is made with (corn startch?) upping it's carb content. Hopefully the protein content is more than the carbs. Not a huge boo-boo, just find out the carb content next time prior to eating. You should be able to find a general idea online somewhere. P.S. I have opted to egg drop soup too when nothing else is around. I am right there with you! Janet > Hey all > Did I do a boo boo? I am 12 days out. Guest guest
I just looked online for egg drop soup and nutritional information. It looks to me like there are an even amount of carbs and protein. I think that if it doesn't make you sick and you don't eat it everyday then you are ok. I want some now! Just thought this would help. bethany 5/27/04 281/261/227/150 > Hey all > Did I do a boo boo? I am 12 days out. I had a quarter cup of egg drop soup > for my dinner today. It was so yummy! Guest guest
I meant to say that the worst nutritional information for egg drop and NOODLE soup has equal carbs. It must be ok without noodles because I found another site that said there is 1.7 g carbs and 14 g protein. All this talk is making me want some good egg drop soup. Guest guest
I would guess that since eggs are a prominent ingredient there's got to be some good protein in this soup. I don't care for it, so I never eat it, but I think it's probably fine! You could always check with the nutritionist at your doc's office (or a nurse if they don't have one). take care! you are on your way!!! gpb 5/27/03 315/ 170/ 150 > Hey all > Did I do a boo boo?
