Guest guest Posted May 17, 2005 Report Share Posted May 17, 2005 Derrick, here's a few salty recipes for you: - chicken broth, use Knorr brand, has good flavor - Cream of broccoli and cheese soup (1 can 's cream of broccoli soup, 1 can milk, 1/4 cup of Ragu cheese sauce, for added calories add 1 tbsp. mayonnaise or sour cream. Heat all ingredients. Blend until smooth. Strain if necessary) - Bean and bacon protein soup ( 1 cup 's bean and bacon soup, 1 cup of milk or 1 can Ensure, 1 tbsp. Worcestshire sauce if desired, 1/4 paprika, slowly heat all ingredients (do not boil), cool slightly, blend until smooth) - Tuna casserole ( 1/2 cup of drained tuna in spring water, no oil, 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1 can milk, 2 tsp. margarine, 1 tsp. mayonnaise, blend all ingredients well - Cream of tuna or salmon (throw into a blender either tuna or salmon with water or milk, add some mayonnaise for more taste, also lemon juice if you like and blend) - Turkey in the straw or syringe (1/4 cup chopped cooked turkey, 1/2 cup turkey gravy, 1/2 cup dressing, combine small amount of dressing and gravy in the blender until thinned, add pieces of turkey and continue to liquefy Hope these help with the salty food craving!
