problems with meat, etc

My tastes are changing yet again. I really thought I would know by after two

years out what my body tolerates and handles well. Instead of it getting easier

eating meat, eggs, fish is getting harder for me.

Because of financial problems recently I have become more dependent on my

protein shakes as my primary protein source. I find I just get in more than

about one bite of meat without it making me feel nauseous. It's not the amount.

I am having problems with eggs too.

Here's what I CAN tolerate.

*Cheese (especially sharp cheese)

*hamburger meat mixed with something else... 's

chili with sour cream and cheese in it

*sliced turkey breast from the deli in small amounts

*tuna if I mix the tuna salad myself (has to be in salad form though

* peanut butter (think of that more as a fat than a protein)

sometimes the meats/fish taste odd to me. Sometimes it is just that I feel the

food sitting in my stomach ... just sitting there and I want to make myself get

sick (but I can't)

I am trying to eat low carb but I can handle pretzels and chips just fine if I

were to let myself have them (and some crackers) I am fine with fats. No

problem whatsoever with them.

I seem to have developed this problem with the texture of meats.

My question is 1. am I going crazy? That this is happening now?

2. Is there anything wrong with depending on protein shakes as my major source

of protein? (I just mix them with water and ice cubes nothing else added)

All this has come to the forefront today because I now that I have a little bit

of money I had a craving for shrimp today and bought myself a small portion. I

ate 1/2 of 1 shrimp and here it sits like it's a two-pound rock. (not only that

it has no flavor) money wasted.

who is going to have a protein shake tonight and give up on the shrimp.

*LOL*
