Guest guest
& anyone else on June caboose, Hope you're able to read this at work, since your home computer is on the blink. Just wanted to send you hugs, thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery. You'll be in our thoughts tomorrow. I don't know if you read my hints, but here they are again. Hints: Small whiteboard with pen - a must for when you can't talk. A tablet to write down questions for or comments from surgeon. Juice based Boost Breeze. It's great for getting down the liquid meds and antibiotics. I take them with it and drink it, then chase it with some water. I've only found the Boost Breeze at Walgreen's Pharmacy, but you might check with others. It's been a godsend to getting the meds down. I also have a baby pillow - small pillow that I took to the hospital with me as it helped with my neck problems, etc. And if you have one (I wish I'd ordered two) the zip n squeeze hot/cold pack - far more convenient than the large hospital ones - though I used both. We're praying for you. See you on the other side. Keep the humor , we definitely need it to get us all through this surgery. Shirley
