What a wonderful wife!!! Everyone could only hope for a spouse as

supportive as yourself. Give yourself one big pat on the back. Many

spouses become jealous and resentful when their spouse takes back

their health and identity. STAND BY YOUR MAN, SISTER! You are great.

hi

i had mine done in oct 2003, as of today i have lost 110 lbs and i would do

it again tommorrow!!! now i feel is the hardest part of the job! the tool that

is helping us to eat right is getting easier to eat the wrong foods. we must

train our minds everyday to eat the right kinds of food. i myself belive

that excirse is a very big part of keeping the weight off. everyone is

different. the bigger you are the faster the weight drops. i started at 300 and

i now

weight 189 5'6 " and in a size 12. to me i would be happy staying this way,

but i have a goal and that is to weigh between 150 and 160. almost there.....

good luck with your husband and good health to all

maria

  • 1 year later...

Never heard of it. We have stayed at Excelsior Hotel (Hotel

Excelsior?) when we don't stay at the Mt. Sinai residence. It is a

4-star hotel, beautiful, and we can get 2 double beds. This January

I got quoted something like $149 a night, versus the $169 for Mt.

Sinai!!! Now, there is no kitchen/frig, and it takes a $6 cab ride

over to Mt. Sinai. It is directly across from the Natural History

Museum and Planetarium, on Central Park.

We also came across this great 4 star hotel several blocks down from

Mt. Sinai this last time. Must be around 96th street or so? But it

was $200 a night, and wanted to be at the Excelsior. I can

look that up for you, if you wish.

Good luck!

I know the Excelsior is your favorite, and right now it's very comparable

with the Mt Sinai Residence as far as rates. We were able to get 97$ at the

Newton for 2 double beds and a private bath!! It's just at Broadway and

96th on the West side. Should be a very short cab ride. It received good

ratings for things that were important to us such as friendly service,

cleanliness, good area etc. And affordable of course! We got it thru

Sidestep if anyone else is interested. I'll let everyone know how we like

it.

THANKS!

Dayna
