Guest guest
-- Let me Just say ,it really does'nt matter much, what it is, or what it looks like,...its not pretty or a whole lot of fun, but if you make it past the 1st week post-op ,your body is equipped to adapt and deal with it somehow., ... I am 6 days post op for the 2nd time since March.!... First time no splint ,...Splinted and banded 2nd time around......With the splint, so far it is almost impossible to verbally communicate, and much tougher to get norished,....but once again after about day 5 or 6 you start coping with things a little better,...Pretty much because you have no other choice...Just go with the flow....not much else you can do........ take care Bob - In orthognathicsurgerysupport , " rymi48 " <8360322@m...> wrote: > > I was at my os office for a consult last week > and he showed me a wafer splint which looked liked a retainer. > it looks like about the size of a retainer or is it > larger like a whiteing tray for cleaning teeth.
