We just got our floors redone, and somehow, the stovetop just stopped working.

Has anyone ever made applesauce in the oven? I don't have a crockpot...

Thanks

Ellen

I don't have a crockpot...You could just bake the apples with a little butter and some cinnamon, and then puree them. NOt sure if you'd need to add water though... Yep.

Just peel and core the apples. Put in a baking dish - to make baked apples.

Put water or juice of your choice diluted with water (so that is legal) part of

the way up the sides of the apples. Add spices to taste. You can also

stuff the centers and around the sides of the apples with berries of your

choice, (if you are eating them) and drizzle each apple with coconut oil

if you desire. Put them in at 350 until as soft as you like them.

Then, you can eat the apples as baked apples or make them into

apple sauce - they are delicious both ways.
