My OS says that he keeps the splint in for a week to make sure that

the jaw is returning to the proper place. After a week of it falling

back into the splint (not like I can move it much anyway) then the

splint comes off. I thought I would be excited about getting the

wires cut, but I can hardly move right now, so it is just like being

wired. Now I can't wait to get the splint out!
