Is magnesium citrate a legal prep for a flex sig?

So, the doctors are trying to figure out if this recent bout of bleeding is from

the Crohn's disease or from an internal hemorrhoid. I've never had a hemorrhoid

before but I think (and hope) that's what it is.

So they're going to do a flex sig next Friday and want me to drink a bottle of

magnesium citrate the night before.

Is this legal?

Also, I think I will opt for sedation b/c I can. Since the drugs will be IV,

they won't affect the SCD legality, correct?
