The first one I had a Low Carb Creations mini pumpkin swirl cheesecake. I ate half of it and had the worst dumping episode I've had in a while. The next time is today with a Pure Delite Milk Chocolate/Almond bar. Both are low carb, so no milk sugars present. I was very bad last week and ate some cake (which I've already fessed up to,) but I also had some pumpkin spice cake with cream cheese icing yesterday. (I could say I was testing the dump-o-meter but that isn't true.) Both were made with sugar, and neither made me anything but sleepy or lethargic. For some strange reason though, I seem to react much more to supposedly low carb, sugar free items. As of today, I have vowed not to eat sugar at all, hence the s/f candy bar. I think I need to do a protein fast to purge my body, but I just don't know when I'll be able to do that. I start out the day with the best of intentions, then splat, I get hungry and eat lunch. I wish now I had done the protein fast during my initial 6 months when I had to make myself eat. Now that my appetite is back this is becoming a battle.
