Guest guest
Subject line quoting Reagan from the film " King's Row " , this discussion sort of reminds me a bit of that old wives' thing about how when someone loses a limb, they sometimes can still feel " sensation " in their missing limb, as if it was still there -- you know, how the leg that was amputated still itches. Anyway, being about 4 1/2 weeks out from my belt lipectomy, while I don't sometimes " FEEL " that my much despised panni is still there, I absolutely sometimes " FEAR " that it's still there, so occassional reassuring checks down below to make sure that I am still able to exercise my new found ability to see my own two feet happens quite often throughout the day, followed soon thereafter by a very relieved gasp of " WHEW!!!!! " I don't know what it is exactly that I suspect MIGHT just be happening: maybe that my disconnected discarded panni has somehow taken on a life of it's own and has left the lab at Mt. Sinai and has determinedly found me and reattached itself ... which sort of reminds me of another movie, you know that one with Caine called " The Hand " where his severed hand reanimates itself and follows him around murdering people out of rage, revenge and just plain movie peevishness! LMAO! Imagine the horror of a severed panni on a homicidal rampage! Lucille (amusing herself this morning, and having a nice FLAT belly laugh to boot!)
