Hi ,

I'm from Kansas City. It's good to know someone who shares the same

date also :)

I'm not sure what time mine will be yet but the doctor will be

calling me the week before to schedule an appt to fit my splint in

my mouth so I should find out then.

I had to donate my own blood last week and will have to go again

this week. I also got some new pj's. I have been in braces about 29

months now. I also took 4 weeks off from work just in case since my

job requires a lot of talking on the phone. I'm also a runner and

doctor told me no running for 6 weeks but I could walk instead..

just light physical activity.

We are definitely in this together.

Good Morning Kay,

I will be going in tomorrow to be fitted for the splint with my OS.

Today I am headed over to my OD to check to make sure the hooks and

brackets are all okay. I will be donating my blood on next Monday

before my pre-op screening at the hospital.

I will miss my workouts at the gym following surgery. I am sure my

OS will tell me 6 weeks also for physical activity.

Anyway, I will write you later, I am headed over to the OD for an

8:40 appt.

Have a Great Day,

Hi Kay,

I am just checking in on ya since I haven't heard from my surgery

buddy in awhile. Are you all ready for surgery on the 28th? Look at

that calendar, only 6 more days to go for both of us.
