Guest guest
Joanne, The sore might be from the doctors keeping your lips open for so long while they took the wisdom teeth out. I know my OS told me that they really had to stretch my mouth wide open to get into it and that he was worried that they had stretched my lips too much - they are very small lips in width. Sure enough I developed a sore a few days after surgery on the side of my lips. It goes away eventually. Just to make sure it wasn't a cold sore I put some Zovirax on it. Not sure if you can get that OTC in the US (you can in Italy) but any other cold sore/blister cream will do. It does get dark later here than in the US. I love it. Makes the days seem longer and consequently the summer. Vicenza is in Veneto which is the region just south west of where I am (Lombardy). So it's quite near although I would say at least a 4 hour drive from Milan. It is near where my other doctor here in Italy is though which is Verona, where Shapespeare's Romeo & t was set. Will check out your profile photo this afternoon when I get back from my MLD. I'll let you know how that goes! Sara
