Guest guest
Kev, that is fantastic news!!! I am so pleased for you! I can't wait to hear the same words from my orthos lips. DROOLS...and seriously I am. I feel like a baby with this splint and rubber bands. I know, I know, I shouldn't complain. At least I'm not wired! Keep us posted on your de-bracing:-) Sara > > Here is the latest update inthe world of me: I went for my monthly adjustment at myorthos today (Surgery April 20, upper lower, wired for two weeks, banded until today) and they said that I could stop wearing my bands except at night (and only two at night and not three) and that my jaw had not moved at all, AND.... > > If all goes well I should be out of the birthcontrol.. Guest guest
Hi , I think the question about what percentage of teeth showing is recommended depends on what sex you are. I understood from my OD that for women, the upper teeth ususally show, but this is not true for men. And men typically show lower teeth when they talk, while this is not as true for women. It didn't sound correct to me, so I have been watching people as they speak, and it is true!! Many men have what I have now, which is totally hidden upper teeth as they speak, but their lower teeth are very viewable. And many women, including those considered beautiful, have a lot of upper teeth viewable as they speak, and many also have lower teeth viewable also. I didn't hear the percentage, but what you were told sounds about right from what I have been noticing. Interesting! I can't wait to hear what other people have heard. I find myself checking it out when I am watching a movie or TV too. I hope I get over that! lol Fran > > Here is the latest update inthe world of me: I went for my monthly adjustment at myorthos today (Surgery April 20, upper lower, wired for two weeks, banded until today) and they said that I could stop wearing my bands except at night (and only two at night and not three) and that my jaw had not moved at all, AND.... > > If all goes well I should be out of the birthcontrol..
