hey. . part of it is all the blood you're ingesting. if you can help it,

try and avoid swallowing it. if you're taking in that much blood, you might

want to call your surgeon and get them to look at it. wounds should not be

bleeding that much even a day after. as for the pain killers, i was

fortunate enough to not requiring to take any pain meds, but i do here that

codeine does have that effect on stomachs, so if you don't need it, get

yourself off it asap. hope this helps

calm down?<br> & gt;Date: Sun, 05 Jun 2005 19:35:58 -0000<br> & gt;<br> & gt;Hi

there!<br> & gt;<br> & gt;((((katie)))) You are in the same spot that I was in

at that time.<br> & gt;What I can tell you is that in the next couple of days,

it gets MUCH<br> & gt;better. I used the purple Sudafed to clear my nose so

that I could<br> & gt;breathe better, and it worked like a charm. Once you

get passed the<br> & gt;breathing issues, you will be able to calm yourself

down a little<br> & gt;more. Try not to panic, and talk with your doctor

about your<br> & gt;symptoms. (S)He can help you

cope.<br> & gt;<br> & gt;Jayar<br> & gt;<br> & gt;<br> & gt;---

because of the codeine, or all the blood i keep swallowing(do<br> & gt; & gt;

you guys just swallow the blood down? i have a hard time

spitting<br> & gt;it<br> & gt; & gt; between my teeth).. but has this happened to

anyone else? i feel<br> & gt;like<br> & gt; & gt; i can't breathe and I can't

wait for my nose to stop being stuffy!<br> & gt; & gt; how long does that

usually take? also, did anyone have really bad<br> & gt;ear<br> & gt; & gt; pain,

and if so..do you have any tips? i feel a ton of pressure,<br> & gt;as<br> & gt;

sorry guys..my list of<br> & gt; & gt; rants is endless, but i'm just going to

throw everything out here<br> & gt; & gt; because i've been going crazy the

i'm really having a hard time breathing<br> & gt; & gt; through my mouth and i

gets better? i try to<br> & gt;stay<br> & gt; & gt; calm but it's so easy to

panic! i also stopped using the<br> & gt; & gt; codeine..last dose was

yesterday at noon. is this going to bite me<br> & gt;in<br> & gt; & gt; the ass

later? or is it okay to stop sooner than later? also, i'm<br> & gt; & gt;

having problems getting my ensure down...juice and broth are fine,<br> & gt;

& gt; but i feel like ensure is too thick and i hate that i can't

brush<br> & gt;the<br> & gt; & gt; inside of my teeth afterwards. sooo basically

i'm probably making<br> & gt;way<br> & gt; & gt; too big a deal about all of

this....but if anyone can give me any<br> & gt; & gt; tips or answers to my

thousand questions, i would really<br> & gt;appreciate<br> & gt; & gt; it. good

luck to everyone with surgery coming up! i'm not trying<br> & gt;to<br> & gt;

Hey Derrick...what...no pain meds? Man, you're lucky/brave. That's so

cool. I actually decided to keep taking the codeine..just in smaller

doses, and now I can keep something in my stomach so I'm not getting

sick anymore. The blood was also making me sick..I didn't realize your

body can't digest blood. So it makes sense, but it stopped.. so yay!

:] Thanks for your help.
