Guest guest
On Friday, I got a phone call from the O & P re-scheduling Clara's fitting for tomorrow, pending an anticipated shipment from Orthomerica (who called to notify them). I wish I could tell you which email got the result -- the ones posted here, or the one sent to Orthomerica asking for oversight. I did receive a professional reply to the latter with some assurances about the work on their end, but none related to turnaround. Hopefully this concludes my thread about a STARband casting error, on a positive note. -- Thad Launderville Montpelier, VT Clara age 19 months, on hiatus after 2.5 months in poorly-fitting STARband On Nov 4, 2009, at 3:20 PM, Molly Foley wrote: > Per Orthomerica: >> Once Orthomerica receives the cast impression or scan, the >> STARband will be shipped to the orthotist within 5 working days. >> Ideally, your child will be fit with an Orthomerica cranial >> remolding orthosis within 14 days of the casting/scanning date to >> assure proper fit and function. > > You should definitely talk to Orthomerica and/or your orthotist > about getting the band within 14 days.
