Coconut Sugar?

Hey guys,

I have been seeing a lot of stuff about coconut sugar everywhere and I was

wondering if its legal or if it falls into the same category as corn syrup and

cane juice? There is a raw, vegan, grain free bakery near me and they use

coconut sugar as their sweetener and it would be great to be able to pick up

some goodies.

So far as I have been able to determine, coconut sugar isn't legal, just

as date sugar isn't. What the different between boiling down sugar cane

sap and boiling down coconut sap?
