Guest guest
I always took her helmet off when I changed her clothes. There were some onesies I could put on over the helmet, but I just found it easier to take it off. I figured the 5 minutes it took to change her clothes wouldn't make that much of a difference in the morning. In the evening, we put her in pajamas during her 1 hour off time. I have heard of others putting onesies on by pulling them up from the feet instead of going over the head though. > > I know that this may sound like a strange question, but I'm new to this (my son has had his helmet only 4 days). I thought that this was going to be an awful experience, but my son has been such a little trooper. He hasn't cried once and he's been nothing but his happy, smiley self. He even slept through the night last night with his helmet on which is no different than normal. Anyway, about getting him dressed. It their some trick to getting on his clothes without removing his helmet? How does one get on onesies over it or can I just take his helmet off to get him dressed? Looking for suggestions. Thanks! >
Guest guest
I tried to find things that snapped up the front (very difficult to find), but I also found that the onesies that stretch more at the neck (the ones that criss-cross at each shoulder) actually expand enough to get them over her helmet. When she first got the helmet, she didn't have many of those types of onesies, but now in her current size, I am buying more of them and clothes that stretch more. I take her helmet off for ~30 min in the morning and evening instead of one hour at night, so that is usually when I dress her. Her daycare however, has never had to take off her helmet to change her because I'm sending that kind of clothing. > > I know that this may sound like a strange question, but I'm new to this (my son has had his helmet only 4 days).
