Guest guest
Sharon, You cannot save the form and go back to it. Believe me, I tried that. You can, however, print a blank one, fill it out and then go to the computer and type everything in. Once you send it you will get a confirmation and that is what you print out. I brought mine with me to Durham but no one ever asked for it. Hope this helps. Christy California Post-Op

Guest guest
Trudy: Doing good today. I'm getting most of my energy back so that is a plus. Just had some Hot & Sour soup which rested nice in my stomach, however, only about 5 tablespoons can fit in there......LOL. As of Tuesday this week I have lost 10lbs so that is exciting. How did your visit go today with your PCP? Christy / CA
Guest guest
Hey, Someone suggested printing up the questionaire and answering the questions by hand, and then going back in and typing your answers in online and sending them.. You can take all the time you want answering the question byhand first then.. great idea!! (thanx to whoever thought of that) Trudy Re: need help >Date: Tue, 14 Nov 2000 22:04:33 EST > >In a message dated 11/14/00 6:24:29 PM Pacific Standard Time, >s4@... writes: > > > > My name is Sharon s from Fort Worth TX. Guest guest
Christy, Just got back, he was so excited for me. He couldn't believe my five little booboos... And he really just kept looking at my face and saying " you look good!! " (think of that with an Indian accent, Dr. Nallari..) By his scales and I really don't trust them, cuz they weighed me 6 lbs heavier than my gny's and I went on the same day to both doctors... I've lost 16 lbs. Now, if he's off... and I'd love to think he is.. I may have lost as much as 22 lbs... I'll tell ya it sure feels that way!! Can't wipe the smile off my face these days.. (and my hubby, couldn't be happier, he keeps saying how proud of me he is.. sheesh, it aint me, but don't tell him..) Trudy Re: need help Trudy: Doing good today. You poor thing- you can come up with the strangest things to have/get. I don't think that there is an unusual medical thingy question that you won't be able to answer for us. Guest guest
Cyndi, I know what a terrible day this has been for you. I held our 16 year old dachshund while he to sleep two years ago. We probably waited several months longer than we should have--hating to make that decision. Being the right & loving thing to do in no way makes that decision & return to an 'empty' home easier. All of us that visit here deal with the physical pain of the various forms of pancreatic disease, but I think emotional pain is harder to handle, and losing a loved one is the worst. I am sorry for your loss. Caroline Burton Fayetteville, AR
Guest guest
Hi Cyndi, I am sorry for your loss, I know exactly how you feel...Just think that there are many little pups/kittens that need adopting out in this wide world of ours if you are willing to open your heart to another one when you are ready... If you have pictures of your pet and remember all the good times you had, funny things that it did etc...think of them and that will help immensely. Just as losing a relative, it will take time to get over the loss of a pet.
Guest guest
Cyndi, It is always painful to lose a pet. They become a cherished member of the family and it's hard to say good-bye even when you know it's the right thing to do. I'm also sorry it had to be on your daughter's birthday. I have a soon to be 5 year old miniature dachshund, KayDee, and she is my heart. I never even really liked dogs before I got her but I cannot imagine my life without her. I've told her she has to live forever because I don't know how I will deal with letting her go when the time comes. Hopefully, I'll be lucky enough to have 15 years with her as you did with your cat. I know that no matter when I have to give her up, it'll never be easy and it will never feel like I've had her long enough. Saying a prayer to help you through this tough time. Guest guest
Is there anything that I can take over the counter for severe " D " ? I have written down I can have old-fashioned pepto bismol - anything else? I am also vomiting and am doing the electrolyte drink. I was taking one lyosan acidophilus tablet a day (very low dose - starting gradual) which I just started four days before this hit - can that cause this? If this is my three month flair then it is the worse thing I have ever had. Thanks for your help. Sandy scd 4/10 chrohns 7/

It could be die off or die - off/3 month flare together. Some people are extra sensitive to probiotics and have to introduce them excruciatingly slowly - and of course their introduction can cause die off of other pathogenic bacteria, which is the effect we want them to have, but the die off part, if caused in a big " operation " , so to speak, can make you awfully miserable in the short term.
