Guest guest
Well, I got the official word from my insurance company that they have pre-approved my upper jaw surgery. Hurray! I was a little nervous, because my OS said I would have to prepay 45K if we didn't hear from the insurance. OUCH. Ok, I'll just pick it off my tree out back, ya right! I was so relieved to get that news yesterday. Wanted you to know that even though I haven't been posting the last week, I've been keeping up on everything. I actually was spring cleaning my house last week, so when my mom comes to take care of me that it was somewhat presentable ! What we do for visitors!!! With two kids, I'm sure it will be a disaster before my mom comes, but she at least knows I tried. She lives 20 minutes away, so she knows what it looks like! Enough about cleaning. Sara - I hope you are feeling better. I'm so glad that you post everything that you do, because it's very helpful to know what you can possibly go through! Your pictures look great! - I noticed in one of your posts that you didn't like to wear big gunks of wax when at work. I've never used wax....for some reason I couldn't make it stay. I used Baby Orajel to numb the area and it worked wonders! Thought I'd pass that tip on to you, maybe it will be helpful, maybe not. I don't have hooks yet, so I'm only going on where my braces rub. I will get my hooks July 6 for surgery July 18. Becky - Joey sounds like a keeper. He sounds like my husband Harry. Harry loves to cook and I'm sure he will be pushing wonderful recipes my way...unfortunately I'm soo fussy when it comes to food! I call him Harry the Heater man, because I met him when he came to install my heater in my condo January 8, 1993! We've been together ever since. We will be married 11 years as of tomorrow ! Have you set a date for your wedding yet? I'm glad that everyone is doing great. Keep up the posts! Dee
