Hi !

I'm in Prunedale,California, just north of Salinas. Had my surgery

in Monterey.

, what an awesome accomplishment. You are incredible!

Just saw my endocrinologist today and lost 4 more pounds since last

Thursday. I've been off the glucophage since the surgery and she

told me to stay off it and now I only have to do finger sticks once a

day. She'll see me again in December and probably cut me loose. I'm

so very happy--that's why I had the surgery.

My list of allowable foods includes skim milk and yogurt and low-fat

mozzarella. None of these things bother me so I've been eating them.

However, I'm losing slowly in my opinion.
