Guest guest
Hi Diane, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad. I am really glad you were able to be with him for an extended visit recently too. That is so important, and something we can miss a chance of doing sometimes. I am glad you were able to share that time with him. I am sure rescheduling can be worked out. I am sure thesurgeons will understand and work it out with you will little headache - if any! Take care, and have a safe journey. Hugs, Fran > > Good luck on you visit to the OD. Guest guest
Hello all - I just got back from Florida late Tuesday nite. Thank you for all your prayers and kind thoughts throughout this difficult time for my family and myself. The funeral and military honors at the cemetery were very nicely done; we gave my Dad a great send-off. Thursday is my OD Consult appointment and thanx to the info on this site I feel ready and able to get going on all this. Oh, and Shirley, you asked what my lab specialty is: I'm a Cytotechnologist, and have been one for 25 years. To those of you who don't know what that is: I microscopically examine cell samples to detect Cancer (the most common cell sample I examine are Pap smears). I'll let you know how Thursday goes. //// Diane (Idaho) > > Diane, > > > > My thoughts and prayers are with you. Guest guest
Hi Diane, Some of that " medicinal " wine would be really good about now but I'm heading off to work soon. Your ortho sounds awesome. I'm glad your braces aren't bothering you too much so far. Mine never really bothered me either but still I can't wait to get them off someday.
