Re: Vitamins and anti-depressants

Sharon,

I am not sure I ever made a direct correlation between the

absorption of vitamins and minerals taken with any medication. However,

I know that if you take certain medications (like an antibiotic) other

medications don't work as well (like oral contraceptions). What you have

discovered does make sense. However, with regular lab work, it should

not matter whether one is taking an antidepressant or not because the

vitamins and minerals can always be adjusted. If I have to choose

between my sanity (taking antidepressants) and potentially taking more

supplements OR just taking supplements and going completely insane and

becoming suicidal, I will choose the antidepressant every time.
