Hi, I'm and brand new to the group.

I had divided gastric roux-en-y on 12/27/01

and have lost about 130 pounds, although I

haven't lost anything in a long time except

the same pounds over and over. My life has

been wild--divorce, move, terminal illness

of my only sibling, death of our father, new

relationship....just to hit the headlines.

I just can't seem to get myself back on track

and I'm getting real down about it. It

seems to simple---just DO IT. But while I do

fine for awhile, I slip at some point most

every day. I started at 315; this morning I

weight 186; my lowest post surgery weight was

175, but I only weighed that for a very short

period of time. Most of the time I stay in the

180's. Should I just be satisfied with that?

I always have such good intentions to walk

but somehow never get it done. It's real hot

where I live now.

Have any of you been where I am? If so, how

did you get yourself out of it?
