Guest guest
We are very nut heavy on this diet- I wonder if this contributes at all or is part of the issue to the weight gain thread?I would guess. I'm trying to eat more nuts, since I still need to gain about 12 lbs, but it's a delicate balance, because I want to gain weight but I don't want to freak out my gut! Makes sense though, that too many nuts could cause a weight imbalance, since if you think about the paleo diet, early man would've had to work pretty hard just to get a few nuts. He would've never been able to eat even a handful a day, probably, and we eat much more than that. So you could say that too many nuts isn't quite natural. Guest guest
Oh undoubtedly the nut products contribute to weight gain. I've just removed so many things from my diet that I feel like taking away nuts on top of everything else is just mean. I gave up cheese because I realized that was making me gain and it did help slow down the weight gain but it certainly hasn't stopped. I think I just ended up eating more nut products to replace it. It seems like every replacement I have is full of calories. Bleh! Stacey (I would have replied sooner but my computer died. again.) > > > We are very nut heavy on this diet- I wonder if this contributes at > > all or is part of the issue to the weight gain thread? > > > I would guess.
