Hi,

I will be having my surgery in about 3 weeks, and I was wondering if

anyone could tell me what to expect. My boss had this surgery, but

hers did not go well. They damaged her nerve on one side of her jaw,

so she is partially numb. At the beginning this helped her healing

process, because she was numb and could not feel the pain. So she was

back at work within 1.5 weeks. I highly doubt that that will be the

case with me. I just wanted to get some input on a few things. My

doctor is an excellent surgeon, but he not great at preparing me for

what is to come...he doesn't talk to me very much. Could anyone tell

me what to expect with regards to pain, eating, clean my teeth, and

overall recovery. I know that everyone has a different experience,

but it would help to know a few different view points, as I am about

to have this major surgery.

Thank you!

Austria
