Legal Drinks and Multivitamins

Hi all,

I am new to this diet. Still trying to get my bearings. I have two unrelated

questions about legal foods.

1. Is Forvia legal? Its a multivitamin supplement recommended by the crohns and

colitis foundation. See here for information about it.

2. Is Simply Orange and Simply Apple legal? I looked at the ingredient list and

the only suspicious thing I saw was a mention of sugar but other than that it

looked fine.

Well, perhaps I missed it, but I didn't notice that they told you what

was actually in the tablets other than going on about how wonderful it

was for people with gut issues and how it's recommended by the CCFA. I

have sent them a note, requesting information -- but I doubt that it is

legal. For one thing, they mention that it contains iron, and iron

supplements are not recommended on SCD because they can feed bad

bacteria. Lucy's Kitchen Shop sells a legal multi-vitamin.

Company? A link? The only juices which are legal are Welch's grape,

Tropicana original, and the Knudsen Just Juice line. NOt commercial apple

juice is likely to be legal because they frequently concentrate sugars

from apples and add them to the juice to make it sweeter. Yet they can

still claim that it contains " nothing but apples. "
