Is this dumping on sugar, or a reaction to the sugar alcohols that

replace sugar in these NSA foods? I've heard people without stomach

surgery (like diabetics) complain of a similar reaction to the sugar

alcohols.

The reason you have probably heard of diabetics having this reaction is

that some of the diabetic products are made with sugar alcohols. Keep in

mind though that some of us used these products and were not diabetic and

had the same reaction. I don't think it is just a diabetic reaction of

non-wls people, I think to much of a good thing causes this problem in

anyone.

Sounds like dumping to me. Also sounds like a reaction to sugar alcohols,

which can have a laxative effect.

In my case it was from the lactose. I became lactose intolerant after the

surgery, but somehow wasn't even thinking about that since I don't even

think about dairy much any more... I just don't have it.
