Guest guest
Is this dumping on sugar, or a reaction to the sugar alcohols that replace sugar in these NSA foods? I've heard people without stomach surgery (like diabetics) complain of a similar reaction to the sugar alcohols. Guest guest
The reason you have probably heard of diabetics having this reaction is that some of the diabetic products are made with sugar alcohols. Keep in mind though that some of us used these products and were not diabetic and had the same reaction. I don't think it is just a diabetic reaction of non-wls people, I think to much of a good thing causes this problem in anyone. Guest guest
In my case it was from the lactose. I became lactose intolerant after the surgery, but somehow wasn't even thinking about that since I don't even think about dairy much any more... I just don't have it.
