Guest guest
my surgeon actually said " ride a bike? yes. fall off? no way " so maybe stick to a stationary bike. he also said to be careful taking aerobic classes - as one of his patients got hit in the face by someone's hand. -becky
Guest guest
Also, avoid putting your head down if you've had upper surgery - too much pressure (like downward dog pose in yoga). You remind me with the face comment about an exercise class I was in last week, in a very cramped space (it's amazing how many yoga students you can fit into one room) - anyway, we were doing one particular pose where the foot hangs over in a fairly awkward pose for some. My neighbour's foot was dangling perilously close to my face, so I lay there with my right hand facing up, karate-style, over my nose. I sure didn't want her foot to come crashing down if she lost her balance! > my surgeon actually said " ride a bike? yes. fall off? no way " so > maybe stick to a stationary bike. he also said to be careful taking > aerobic classes - as one of his patients got hit in the face by > someone's hand. > > -becky
