By jon-with-no-h Fellow sarkies! Oh, the joys of this disease and my insomnia...ennui has set in, and, as the sun slowly rises my haiku muse has sputtered to life. Enjoy, and feel free to add your own.Peace, jon ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++we wheeze and we cough/tired is our daily friend/it is what it iswe don't deserve this/but we have it anyway/much strength in numbersI hurt and I ache/neuropathy sure does suck/what more could go wrongI crawl to the doc/I know she thinks I'm crazy/"take this prednisone"I now weigh a ton/moon facies, buffalo hump/but now I can breathethe cats run away/my dogs look at me funny/my wife shakes her headthe oxygen man/"here, put on this cannula"/now I lug a tankwhat more can go wrong/I ask with a Dubya smirk/now my ears hurt toothe pred makes me hot/not hot like a real cute girl/I sweat like a pigchildren run and hide/my foot steps on the nose hose/now I've lost an earI drool at random/my nose bleeds when it wants to/this is not much funI go see my doc/"my ear is in this baggie"/"I am not joking""how did this happen?"/"you really don't want to know/just sew it back on""I have some bad news/you now have diabetes/thanks to your friend pred"my life goes on/I find this Inspire site/they understand hereI now have sarc friends/some have lost an ear or two/thanks to the nose hosewe laugh and we cry/we share our daily struggles/thank God for you all!
