Guest guest
Just chiming in on this gallbladder discussion... I am truly sorry for those of you who have had to undergo GB removal after your Rny's. I understand how it feels to have yet another surgery when you thought you were done as I am waiting to have a hernia repair scheduled myself. There is no way that it's medically ethical to remove a healthy organ from a person's body just for convenience sake. The gallbladder serves a purpose and to remove it because it " might " cause a problem later is unethical. Imagine explaining in court the complications arising out of a (technically unneccesary) gallbladder removal. See what I mean? (Not looking forward to another surgery....blech!)
