Re:grazing for Vitalady?

Just curious about this: you don't consider those 6 protein shakes (which

I infer are in addition to your 4 small meals) as grazing? How so?

If you graze, you get your wt back. I don't care if it's " healthy " food. If

you graze, you gain. You have to make your own plan. I get 4 feedings. They

can be snacks or meals, but not 4 meals AND snacks. I eat all normal foods,

but milk & sugar. Unless pasta is a trigger food for you, having it now &

then is fine. Good. I love pasta. I can eat it now & then, but if I make a

batch of angel hair spaghetti, I will make it 2 of my 4 per day until gone.

LOL! And I like it with bread.

I go to a lot of trouble NOT to feel bad about food. Like you, I want to be

in charge. If I overeat, I feel miserable, no need for guilt there. LOL! If

I get stupid and think I can eat sugar (refer to Peeps Incident), I gain wt.

No guilt needed, built -in consequence. See?

But noooooooooooo, milk, nooooooooo sugar. And I do 6+ protein shakes per

day.

Yes, you are SO right. I have seen people graze their way back to full size

on healthy food. I also was heavy on steamed broc & salad. But VOLUME and

grazing definitely makes up for pouch size.

I guess I was lucky I was not a grazer before. As it was, I had to learn to

eat many smalls vs one huge one. It would scare you hear what this presently

small body could put away in one setting. Scares ME and I lived it.
